No! FSL is a game for entertainment purposes only. You are not buying or selling real stocks, and no real money is involved. We use real market data to track performance, but all portfolios are virtual. This is not investment advice.
Absolutely not! Fantasy Stock League is completely free to play. There are no deposits, fees, or purchases required. Just create an account and start competing!

You can draft most publicly traded stocks on major US exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ). Once a stock is drafted by someone in your division, no one else can pick it. Search by ticker symbol (e.g., AAPL, TSLA, MSFT) during your turn.
If you don't make a pick within 8 hours, the system will automatically select a random available stock for you. Try to stay active during the draft to ensure you get the stocks you want!
Your goal is to have the highest portfolio value in your division at season end. Rankings are based on total portfolio value, which is calculated using:

At season end, you earn points based on your division rank:

No. Once the draft is complete, your portfolio is locked for the season. You cannot buy, sell, or trade stocks. This keeps the game fair and strategy-focused on draft decisions!
Season length is set at 90 days. You can see your season end date on your dashboard and portfolio page. However, if you create a private draft, you may choose the season length.
Divisions are groups of players who draft together and compete against each other. Each draft creates a new division. You can view all divisions and compare performance on the Divisions page.
We use real-time market data from Finnhub and Yahoo Finance. Stock prices update during market hours (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Prices are cached for 15 minutes to ensure reliability.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
Yes. Email us at support@fantasystockleague.net to request account deletion. Note that this will remove all your data, including draft history and rankings.
We're currently developing native iOS and Android apps. In the meantime, our website is fully mobile-responsive and works great on any device. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience!
